Mitsui & Co. Energy Ltd. (hereinafter “the Company”) supplied a 100% bio-based Green Methanol Bunker in Singapore on January 20, 2026, for the vessel “Brave Pioneer”, operated by Cargill.
The local supplier for this delivery was Golden Island Pte. Ltd., who obtained Methanol Bunkering License in Singapore in December 2025.

Together with our sister company, Mitsui & Co. Energy Trading Singapore Pte. Ltd., the Company has built a track record of supplying Bio-bunkers* in Singapore.
We are pleased to have successfully completed this supply of Green Methanol Bunker.
In the field of marine fuels, Green Methanol is regarded—alongside Biodiesel—as one of the most promising options for decarbonization.
With the support of Cargill, Seascale Energy, Golden Island Pte. Ltd., The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, and relevant departments of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., we were able to make this transaction possible.

The Company will continue to contribute to decarbonization efforts by promoting the supply of low-carbon fuels, while ensuring the safe and stable supply of existing fuels.

* Bio-bunker: A marine fuel produced by blending biodiesel – derived primarily from biomass such as used cooking oil – with Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO), a conventional fuel.
